What part of the music industry I am interested in working in: I am a singer/songwriter and all I knew when coming into the Music Business Management program was that I wanted to work in music whichever way I could. I am interested in working a marketing role in the music industry. I took a marketing class in my first year and then I really realized my love for artist/record label marketing.
Why I joined TakeOver: I joined TakeOver because when I was looking for an initiative, this is the one that best matched my interests. There was a marketing representative role that was specifically aiming towards the artist and social media. I then got offered a marketing director role.

What part of the music industry I am interested in working in: I’m still not too sure what part of the music industry I want to work in, but I know for sure that I want to be apart of music forever. It’s what I’m all about, I can’t see myself working at a desk job or anything like that.
Why I joined TakeOver: I joined TakeOver to gain experience in the artist management portion of the music industry. So, if I ever have an opportunity to work at an artist management company, I will have some knowledge on the topic and hopefully get a position.
